Yoga for Children from the Age of 5 to 12
This course aims at supporting the development of children between 5 and 12. The children are familiarised with various elements of Hatha-Yoga in a playful manner.

1. Body and balancing exercises: the ability to concentrate, coordination and motor functions are developed. Tense muscles are loosened while underdeveloped muscles are strengthened. This can prevent and compensate postural impairments.
2. Breathing exercises: playful exercises guard against illnesses of the respiratory tract and calm the mind.
3. Fantasy trips that are adapted to the needs of children: the attention is directed inwards. This method of becoming familiar with oneself helps break down fears and makes coping with conflicts easier.
Apart from the preventive aspect, yoga can also be helpful with postural impairments, concentration deficits, fear of school and many other indications.
Besides, yoga is fun!
Lessons are given in small groups of no more than 10 children. A yoga lesson lasts 60 minutes and, of course, no prior know-how is required.
